A 12-year-old boy was burned to death as the shop he along with his two accomplices were burgling caught fire. The incident occurred in India’s Jharkhand when the three suspected thieves entered a shop in the dark and used a candle to search for valuables, an Indian media outlet reported. India’s incoming government will be greeted with a $25 billion cheque from the central bank, giving it the option to either boost spending or narrow the fiscal deficit quicker, both of which will be cheered by investors. The surplus fund can help the new government, which will take charge after the current elections, bring down its fiscal deficit by 0.3% of gross domestic product (GDP) or increase spending on infrastructure or “populist” stimulus, Citi Research’s Samiran Chakraborty said. “The bond markets would likely hope that the government follows the deficit reduction route, while the equity markets would likely prefer the government taking the expenditure increase one,” said Chakraborty. A youth drowned while attempting a daring dive from a height of 100 foot into a lake for an Instagram reel. The deceased, identified as 18-year-old Tausif, was out with his friends and decided to take a 100ft dive into deep waters for Instagrame reel when he drowned, an Indian media outlet reported. The incident occurred in Sahibganj district of Jharkhand on May 22. The video, recorded by one of his friends, showed Tausif losing control and beginning to drown as soon as he hit the waters as his friends, who were swimming in the lake, tried to save him. According to the details, more than 12 children in the village are still affected by measles, causing concerns among the residents.
