"Latif aka Teefa is a fun character hailing from interior Lahore" - Ali Zafar
Ali Zafar and Maya Ali starrer "Teefa in Trouble" has been the talk of the town. Slated to release by the end of July, the film is surrounded by a lot of speculations. Who is Teefa and what does he want? The trailers did give us a glimpse at the chaotic life Teefa lives but as always, there's a craving to know more about the flick!
Recently, in a talk show, while discussing Teefa with Hamid Mir, Ali Zafar revealed details about the character namely Latif aka Teefa, as the fun-loving guy hailing from interior Lahore who works for Butt Sahab.
"There is a multitude of chores Teefa does for Butt Sahab but there's this one task that becomes a challenge for him. The film revolves around Teefa's journey as he experiences different emotions while tackling that one challenge," shares Ali on the show.
Adding to it further, Ali also stated how he had brought forth his knowledge of films, of music and of cinema in general for Teefa in Trouble, especially for the never-seen-before action sequences in the movie. "It's a complete roller coaster ride of emotions," Ali reveals.
With a multi-star cast starring Ali Zafar, Maya Ali, Mehmood Aslam, Javed Sheikh, Seemi Raheal and others, Teefa in Trouble is all set to release across Pakistan on the 20th of July. Teefa, which is Ahsan Rahim's directorial debut, also marks Ali Zafar's and Maya Ali's debut on the silver screen in Pakistan.
